Since March I’ve been pursuing a permanent sand painting form, tile.  This piece, “Gagosian’s Girlfriend”  is 4’ x 3’, black sand glazed to white tiles and mounted on a light, permanent substrait.  A tile painting.

Below are confections I’ve been doing as glazing tests, trivets for morning coffee.  Their popularity has spawned larger pieces dealing with pattern, symbolism and arcane forms of visual information.
